There are some bad actors out there in the trucking industry. They do things like fail to maintain their trucks or employ drivers who do not meet the standards for commercial vehicle licenses.

Today, however, with electronic dashboard options multiplying, it isn't merely a matter of paying too much. Given the risk of distracted driving, having too much technology puts everyone on the road at risk of serious or even fatal injuries.
It's true that the number of fatal car accidents has declined in recent years. But there are still far too many Utahns who lose their lives on the road due to others' negligence.

Fatal motorcycle accidents are up in Utah. According to the Utah Highway Safety Office, eight people have already died this year in motorcycle crashes. This compares to five fatalities during all of last year.
